  1. Kia ora Te Whiri,

Tino pai! We loved seeing your movie! We liked the part where the birds and insects kept putting the tree back up. It was funny. The sound effects of the tree being chopped down helped us to understand the story. The costumes helped us to recognise the characters. How long did it take you to make the costumes? Who made them? How did Tama get into the forest?
    Tu meke!

    1. Kia ora Waita, making films is very time consuming! Our costumes took about a week and a half to complete. We each designed our own costumes. We were each given a manu and we had to look up what it looked like and then using the different colored paper we cut up feather shapes. Using hot glue we glued the feather cut outs to our t-shirts. We then made our masks. We learned that using material would have better as the paper ruffled over time. It was time consuming but we had fun making them. Tama walked into the forest. It would be great to see you make a film one day!
